Pavilion x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have a laptop HP Pavilion x360. On device manager under other devices the PCI's and unknown devices shows that drivers are missing, when i try to update them it says drivers are not installed.

Attached are some screen shots that i hope will be useful.

I have a Windows 10 Home 64 bit.

Please can someone help me find the right drivers for these devices?

Thank youScreenshot (2).pngScreenshot (3).pngScreenshot (4).png

Hi:

Here are the links to most of the drivers you need for your HP Pavilion x360 - 15-cr0037wm.

First install the Intel chipset driver and restart the PC.  That should install one of the PCI Acquisition and ... and one of the unknown devices.

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp101001-101500/sp101171.exe

Then this driver will install the other PCI Acquisition...and another unknown driver...

Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework Driver

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp95001-95500/sp95216.exe

This driver should install the PCI device...

Realtek Card Reader Driver

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp111001-111500/sp111336.exe

After you install the above drivers, there will probably be some left.

For those, please post the hardware ID's for the remaining devices that need drivers.

Hi:

Try this driver for the 9D27 (the first screenshot...

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp100001-100500/sp100187.exe

For the PCI device try manually installing the driver as follows...

Go to the device manager.  Click on the PCI device needing the driver.

Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update driver.

Select the 'Browse my computer for drivers' option, and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file.

That folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp100139.

Make sure the Include  subfolders box is checked and see if the driver installs that way.

Here is a partial copy and paste of the driver setup information file which shows driver support for that hardware ID...

%TEE_DeviceDesc%=TEE_DDI, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A135 ;SKL, KBL H

Then do the same thing for the PCI Simple Comms Controller but browse to C:\SWSetup\sp110054.

Hi

Thank you so much for everything.

The only device left is the PCI Data Acquisition, it's proven stubborn 😁HP System InformationHP System InformationPCI Data Acquisition folderPCI Data Acquisition folder anyway i think you forgot to include the manual installation folder for me, because the manual install was what resolved the other two.

Also if you can help me on this other one ''HP System Information'' won't install.

Any idea about it?

Thanks

You're most welcome.

If you want to try manually installing the driver for the very stubborn PCI Data Acquisition device, you browse to C:\SWsetup\sp100093.

As far as the HP System Information software, unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to help you with that.

What you could try as an alternative, is to see if you can install the HP System Event Utility, which is basically the same thing.

This package contains the HP System Event Utility, which enables special function keys on supported notebook models to be programmed. For example, HP System Event Utility enables users to press the Fn+ESC keys to view system information. This package is provided for the supported computer models running a supported operating system.
