HP Pavilion 590-p0103wb
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello, I am wondering which PSU upgrades would be compatible with my machine. It has the original Sunflower board and original 180w PSU, and the original CPU cooler. I upgraded with a Ryzen 7 2700 CPU, 16gb DDR4 DIMM RAM, and a Yeston Radeon 550RX GPU, I would like to upgrade my GPU and RAM again but may need a new PSU, I don't want to fry my motherboard in the process so may I get assistance or guidance?

Thank you so much. I was looking at that 500w PSU, and I was looking at the compatibility chart and I just specifically did not find my model on that chart so I wasn't sure if it would work. Thank you for the help

@AlexxDarke,

Welcome to our peer-to-peer HP Community Forum!

Your HP Pavilion 590-p0103wb is fitted with a Sunflower motherboard (SSID: 8433), with p/n: 942023-001 "Motherboard - Sunflower, AMD Raven Ridge PROM2".

There are two compatible power supply upgrades available for your desktop.

There is a 400-watt power supply with p/n: L04618-800 and a 500-watt power supply with p/n: L05757-800.

Reference: Power Supply Cross Reference for specific models - HP Support Community - 7483923.

Both power supplies can be purchased online, such as through eBay.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,
