Yes, your HP Pavilion Desktop PC TP01-2096 (318G8AA) is indeed fitted with the Erica6 motherboard (SSID: 8906) :

Let's just say that sometimes HP labeling is lacking in accuracy.

 

When you brought up the "P2" purple wire, it jogged my memory and reminded me of a similar experience: I would be very surprised if the Amazon 400-watt power supply you referenced wouldn't work with your PC.
