@User_7145103,

Welcome to our peer-to-peer HP Community Forum!

It is not entirely clear to me what motherboard is fitted in your HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop PC TG01-1000a (2W847AV).

If it is one of these three motherboards, the 500-watt power supply with p/n: L05757-800 would be compatible with your desktop:

Baker motherboard (SSID: 8767)
Erica motherboard (SSID: 8643)
Rother motherboard (SSID: 8653)

You can find the SSID number by typing in System Information in your Windows search bar, and clicking on the System Information App, and then look to the right of "BaseBoard Product".

And yes, you can install an RX 6600 in your desktop, but if your budget allows it, I would recommend an RTX 2060 Super, RTX 3060 or an RTX 2070 to take advantage of a 500-watt power supply. Make sure that whatever graphics card you choose, that its dimensions (LxWxH) fits inside your case.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,

@User_7145103,

Thank you: "87D6" is an Erica3 motherboard.  Yes, the 500-watt power supply (p/n: L05757-800) is compatible to power your desktop.
