HP Pavilion 590-p0063na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have owned my HP Pavilion 590-p0063na for over a year and have always thought that I would upgrade the graphics card.

Now the time has come I have realised that the PSU only gives 180w which seriously limits my options.

I would like to fit a GEFORCE RTX 2060 DUAL EVO OC 6144MB GDDR6 PCI-EXPRESS GRAPHICS CARD which I have found for just over £300, does anyone know if I can get a new PSU which would give enough power.

Alternatively any other upgrade suggestions would also be appreciated,

Thanks in advance

Bob

so you bought a mini PC, not ATX spec, full sized

and has non standard PSU inside.

not only that but short height cards are not as common.

lower choices on the card.

160watt card, it is , so you need 500watt PSU min,

did you look at your PC, see that it is not ATX and may have non standard connector not 24pin?

that is first. on all upgrades looking.

I just looked for you it as 2 (4pin) molex power connectors, and is not a standard, its HP only.

just put in GTX1650 (75watts) and be happy. short height card.

if lucky the extra 105 watts will run the rest.

this PC is not a gaming PC at all , period,

my XPS8900 will game and have 700watt PSU in mine. fill sized case. tall cards, runs any card on earth in fact.

Even my 300watt card runs, there. (done the hard way to  prove it can be done)

NO warranty answers by me.
