Part number for SATA power cable for omnidesk m03-0064

I need the  part number for the SATA power cable splitter so I can install 2 new 2.5" SATA drives

Welcome to the HP Forum. 

I checked HP Part Surfer using M03-0064. The MB SATA power cable is not listed.

Check the existing cable for a part number if you have one installed in the MB now.

eBay lists some HP MB SATA power cables. It's anybody's guess what cable works with you MB. eBay works best when you have a specific HP part number.

I would have no idea if the various HP cables listed at eBay are interchangeable in different HP MBs?? Each cable part number could have different MB connector pinouts which only work with specific HP MBs.

ya this is a special tiny inline 4 pin on the MB possibly an L68308-001.  I spent 3 hours on the phone with the amazing idiots at HP being bounced from phone to phone and not a single person knew what I was talking about or had the slightest clue.  It is as if these people created something they have not awareness of.

I don't know how you can find the correct replacement cable if HP can't help.

eBay has HP part number L68308-001 for sale.

The cable seems to be compatible with a HP M01-xxxx PC. It might work with your HP PC.

But trying the cable could result in a bad outcome if this cable connects to the MB and the pinout is different.

So I don't know what to tell you.

Thank you for the assistance.  From being bounced around on the phone for 3 hours from department to department, I can only surmise that they do not sell this part to consumers unless it is part of a package.  It is a shame because I returned that paperweight and purchased another unit from a competitor and even spent an extra grand.  In sales you can make a customer once or you can make a customer for life and I am dropping hp and I will be outfitting my office with another brand.
