Pavilion 595-p0522ng

Would like to upgrade the PSU on this Desktop (current one is 180W L08660-800). I did find another post here  indicating that the 400W L04618-800 should be compatible. However what is indicated there is that the L04618-800 is compatible with the Sunflower Mainboards, whereas mine has a Lincs mainboard. My Desktop is an Pavilion 595-p0522ng (PN: 4CL33EA with an LINCS 942012-601 mainboard)

 

Logically since I already have the L08660-800 installed which is said to be compatible with the L04618-800, this should work fine. However I am not sure if there are any special connectors on the existing 180w PSU which might not exist on the 400W one indicated above.

 

Can anyone help on this? I do not want to order the PSU only to find out that is not compatible (it is also pricey for what it is).

 

The end goal is to replace the preinstalled GeForce GYX 1050ti GPU with either a GTX 1660 or an RTX2060 (if possible).

did you watch this
you should be able to install the 500w model L05757-800
but read the document and comments carefully

Power Supply Cross Reference for specific models

You will then need to check the power of the power supply required for the card found.
If you need more PCI power supply connectors
and check the dimensions, too big it will not fit
too tight, you may have overheating problems
