I want to upgrade my graphics card to the NVIDIA GeForce GT 730 but once plugged in, the screen stays black on boot up. I am guessing it is a BIOS issue - I have a Pegatron 2AB5 mobo with AMI BIOS V7.11

Please can you help me out - I either want to upgrade the BIOS (to V8?), consider changing the mobo (What would you recommend?) or get a different 4GB graphics card (which?).

Many thanks!

Here is a thread on a similar topic

There is no BIOS update available for that PC, unfortunately.  That other thread does mention graphics cards that will work with that motherboard.  For a platform that old, I would not change motherboards.  IMHO it would be cheaper and less troublesome to get a newer platform that can use the better graphics cards, if you must.  I do not see stated what the reason for a better graphics option might be, so it depends on that.

Once the option gets to the NVIDIA GeForce GT 730  or the NVIDIA GeForce GT 1-50 Ti or beyond, a better power supply will be needed, also.
