OMEN 30L Desktop - GT13-0024
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Planning to upgrade OMEN 30L Desktop - GT13-0024 With a 3060 Graphics Card. Which card would work perfectly without changing the case or any other part of the pc?

Hi

Please review guidance provided below. I have installed Asus, EVGA, MSI, and other cards with no problems provided the card fits in the case and the power supply can handle graphics card and CPU demands.

A 3060 requires, per Nvidia, a minimum 550 watt PSU and one eight pin PCIe connector. The Nvidia 3060 reference card is dual slot and requires 9.5 inches in length.

Your PC ships with a 500 watt PSU. This could be a problem when the PC is under heavy GPU and CPU load. I would say your chassis can do a 9.5 inch graphics card. Retail vendors can make Nvidia 3000 series cards up to 12 inches in length. Retail vendors may increase minimum power supply wattage requirements and supplemental PCIe connections to the card. So check this stuff before you buy a longer card.

I believe your motherboard supports industry standard PSUs. A power supply upgrade option can work.

I don't think anyone will be able to answer this question, unless they have the same computer, and tried
If you stick with the current configuration, 500w power supply
you can try sites, like at asus, there is a system of selection by power supply
to check all the same for the pci power connectors required, and dimensions
knowing that it is originally mentioned for your graphics card
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 (6 GB)
Form Factor: Full height PCB with ATX dual slot bracket
Dimensions: 10.9cm x 18.8cm (4.3 x 7.4in)
Total power consumption: 170W

See @old_geekster ' s KB

so for example

much more powerful, seems not to be a possibility here, with this power

550 w

https://www.asus.com/motherboards-components/graphics-cards/all-series/filter?Spec=682

RTX™ 3050 8GB

RTX™ 2070 8gb

etc

650w

https://www.asus.com/motherboards-components/graphics-cards/all-series/filter?Spec=680

3060 White OC Edition 8GB

GeForce RTX 3060 V2 12GB GDDR6

etc

OMEN 30L GT13-0024 Desktop PC Product Specifications

HyperX XMP RGB 8 GB

knowing that if you have not increased the amount of RAM, you may still have problems..
