I just had a very disappointing experience with HP Service. I shipped the computer off to have a problem solved with the USB ports. The problem has been fixed at this point, however there is a definite issue with the way the computer was packed when sent back. There was no spacer put in on top of the computer in the box, and it had been knocked out of the foam when I received it. I plugged it in, only to discover it wouldn't boot. I needed to open the case to reinstall my secondary hard drive, and discovered the cable on the factory installed hard drive had come loose, I reattached it, but the plug on the end had a very loose griop on the connector on the hard drive.
It took me multiple drives and looks through the BIOS before I got it to boot successfully. I reinstalled the second hard drive and things appear to be working properly again.
I am extremely disappointed in the way HP packed my computer for return. I was already disappointed that I had to send the PC back for repair because of a faulty system board, having it sent back so carelessly has me seriously reconsidering whether to ever buy an HP product again.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
