I am looking to upgrade my power supply due to the problem that I can no longer have three external hard drives plugged in without one not being recognized at all. I will also be adding another USB card for a couple of more USB connections and want to make sure I can have enough power for all of my external drives.

I tried the Part Shop but it really wasn't much help...

@Rikerbabe , welcome to the Community.
The motherboard (Lincs) in your computer is HP proprietary. It has a 4-pin power connector instead of a standard 24-pin ATX power connector. You will have to buy any PSU upgrade from HP. You have two PSU's to choose from: 400W (L04618-800) or 500W (L05757-800). I suggest that you go with the 500W. It will give you far more flexibility to upgrade in the future. You can order it from HP PartSurfer by clicking in the box next to the item.
Here is a Chart that will show you where I got the information. It doesn't show the two PSU's for computer model, but all of the connectors on the Lincs motherboards are the same.

Thank you for the additional information, @Rikerbabe!
The best advice I can give you is take a bunch of closeup pictures of where each cable is connected. This will help you when installing the new PSU. You should be able to do the install yourself. Simply take your time and be careful.
I don't have any price information on any of the PSU's. You may pay a bit more according to what I have heard from other members, but they say it is worth the extra money.
