HP All-in-One - 22-c0020na
Microsoft Windows 11

My Model 22 d/0025na lost power due to the power source being inadvertently switched off. Once the power was restored and the power button was pressed, the power light on the All in One came on but then nothing appeared on the screen and none of the keyboard lights lit up. The mouse is also not lit up and does not get any visible response on the screen. Powering down by removal on power plug, pressing the power button 10 to 15 seconds, restoring power etc, produces no results.

Hi @FowlerSJ

The HP Support domain is having connectivity issues. I will provide links to relevant sites when HP is up and running again.

This symptom sounds like a corrupted BIOS. Was the PC doing any updates when this occurred? Multiple shutdowns due to power loss under normal operating conditions will usually start the Windows Recovery and Diagnostic process. Or Windows may load without a problem when the shutdown is an isolated event.

It appears you have no video and no USB I/O. This usually suggests: HP factory service if in warranty, have a local PC Tech attempt to reprogram the BIOS, or replace the MB.

Try all troubleshooting steps at this Link.

The BIOS needed to reprogram your PC's BIOS is as follows F.25 Rev. A.

Watch this Video to see how a Tech can reprogram the BIOS.

Thanks. Norton was up to something at the time but I failed to properly note what that action was. Spoken with my local Tech and he suggests seeking an HP factory solution. I had used the virtual session with no result and then missed the chance to accept an HP offering. So perhaps I need to try again.
