I'm considering the purchase of the Envy AIO 34-c1045t. It's customizable, and I would be upgrading the processor, RAM, memory, and graphics. It looks like there's no option to upgrade the power supply, though. It comes with 330 W 80 Plus Platinum. From everything I've been reading, that doesn't seem like enough. It seems like it should be at least 800 watts. Does anyone have any experience with this system? Is there a reason it can't be upgraded? (I did contact chat support, and they said no.) Could I buy a separate power supply and install it myself given the fact that I have absolutely no experience building computers?
Thanks for any advice

@Gayle1204 , welcome to the Community.
Your best option would be to choose the "Customize" option when you order the computer. This will allow you to add the components that you want without the concerns of compatibility. HP's motherboards are picky when it comes to adding third-party memory (RAM).

You are welcome. Thank you for the additional information, @Gayle1204!
HP designs their AIO's with the components that will work with the power supply (PSU) that is sold with the computer. The AIO's require special PSU's so they can't be upgraded with third-party components.

You are welcome, @Gayle1204!
It is always best to upgrade an AIO at the time of purchase. This can be true for all desktops.
