Hello!

 

So my power supply has been making noises lately on my desktop. When the computer is sleeping there is a higher pitch than buzzing sound coming from the PSU. I ordered a new PSU from the parts store but HP estimates it will take ***2 MONTHS*** before they can even ship the replacement to me. 

 

Has anyone else had this issue? Is there anything else I can do?

I tried a different wall socket and have the same issue. What I would really like to know is why HP takes 2 months to order a proprietary part I can't get anywhere else to fix the issue!
