Can one replace the HP Nvidia Geforce GT230 with a Nvidia GT730 2GB without any problem?

That device reached its EOL ("End Of Life") in 2018, and NVIDIA no longer offers any current device-driver software for it.  So, you will have problems.

Yes and No.  MY current GT230 is also EOL.   For more info
