This maybe a self explanatory question, but, is there any power supply upgrades for Hp 590-p0054? I've read that these pcs psu are proprietary hp units. But is there any possibility that there could be an upgrade available? Thanks.

Welcome to our HP Community Forum!
According to https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06124759, an HP Pavilion 590-p0054 Desktop PC (3LB89AA) is fitted with a Lincs motherboard (SSID: 843B), and a 180-watt power supply.
There are two power supplies which are compatible with your desktop: a 400-watt PSU with p/n: L04618-800, and a 500-watt PSU with p/n: L05757-800. You can purchase these PSUs online, such as via eBay: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2334524.m570.l1313&_nkw=HP+L04618-800&_sacat=0&LH..., and: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=HP+L05757-800&_sacat=0&LH_BIN=1&rt=nc&LH_PrefLoc=1, respectively:

Your desktop only accepts HP proprietary power supplies.
Hope this was helpful.
