Hello Everyone,
I'm having a really tough time trying to get 64GB RAM working properly on my new HP Omen 880-150T. I have Quad Channel and Dual Channel DIMMs and I have specifically chosen Hyper-X because that was what came with my system and also offered as an upgrade option. However, as soon as I hit the 64GB number the system goes into Memory Initialization Error (3 long beeps, 2 short beeps). I scale it down to 56GB and the error/beeps go away. Has any one successfully gotten 64GB to work on the Omen 880's, why would going to 64GB when it is clearly supported and sold cause a problem. I have now tried several different config, Quad Channel (4x16GB), Dual Channel(2x16GB + 2x16GB), and also Single Channel (2x16GB + 16GB + 8GB). But it seems as soon as I try to hit 64GB I hit a wall. Any help would be so very appreciated. Thank you.

I made a deep research
You must select one of the following options:
· 8 GB (2x4 GB) DDR4 PC4-19200
· 12 GB (1x4 GB+1x8 GB) DDR4 PC4-19200
· 16 GB (2x8 GB) DDR4 PC4-19200
· 32 GB (4x8 GB) DDR4 PC4-19200
Only these configurations will work.
You can refer this HP document for specifications:- Click here
Let me know how it goes.
To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.
Cheers.

Hi Sandy,
The HP website sells 64GB modules, so maybe the documentation you have available is old and/or needs to be updated?:

I am trying to help.
The 2017 model listed the Tampa2 board maxed out to 32GB. The 2019 webpage listed 64GB, with an unknown board.
While the new specifications allow 64GB (4x16GB) modules.
I would test the second pair separately.
Are these 4 exactly the same model and specs? Especially the voltage?

Hi @Wb2001,
Yes thats the odd part, all 4 dimms are exactly the same model (HyperX Fury), same mfr(Kingston), same date, same voltage (1.2v), and etc. I have both a dual channel kit and a quad channel kit. Same problem unfortunately. It is kind of puzzling, as its the exact same memory model that came with my system. But as soon as it hits 64GB, it beeps, 56GB is fine.

Your research will be helpful to @sandytechy20 . Seems it's chipset problem or design flaw. With the stated limits.
