Product: TouchSmart 610-1030f
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Purchased a processer upgrade ....Intel Core i7-870 2.93GHz 8MB/2.5 GT/s SLBJG Socket LGA1156 CPU for my TouchSmart. Upon installation and power up, I'm receiving continual beeps during POS. Is this processor compatible or are there other items I'm not aware of???

according to the product page this should be ok!

F01 motherboard specifications.
 is it new ?

the difference is in the power supply, but this one has a graphics card !

I reinstalled the I3. Works fine. Possibly a BIOS update perhaps? I will investigate that possibility as well. But I agree that the i7 should work, but the I7 was an eBay purchase so one is never sure. I have also ordered an I5 which should be here in a few days. I'll let all know...Unless there is something I am still unaware of.....
