@Apurba7,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

Your HP Slim Desktop PC S01-PF1000i (8SP30AV) according to: https://support.hp.com/id-en/document/c06916975 and: https://support.hp.com/id-en/document/c06678632, supports DDR4 PC4-21300 (2666 MHz) with Intel i3 and i5 processors, and up to DDR4 PC4-23400 (2933 MHz) for Core i7-10700 and i7-10700F processors.

Now, the fancy VENGEANCE® LPX 16GB (1 x 16GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz C16 Memory Kit - Black according to: https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Memory/VENGEANCE-LPX/p/CMK16GX4M1E3200C16#tab-tech..., has an SPD (default RAM speed setting) of only 2133 MHz, which can only be changed if you have BIOS access to XMP -which you most likely don't have.

In other words, don't buy it.  This Vengeance RAM is no good to you.

Stick with Crucial or Samsung RAM such as seen here: HP - Compaq HP Slim S01-pF1000i | Memory RAM & SSD Upgrades | Crucial.com.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,

when I look into the main board I noticed that the Ram installed as described  "MTA4ATF51264AZ-3G2J1" company Micron with "4GB 1RX16 PC4-3200AA-UC0-11". When I google it for similar product then it also comes the corsair ram.

@Apurba7,

You can Google all you want, but did you read my response what the reason is not to buy the Corsair RAM (hint: SPD setting)?

Actually, I got that RAM from a friend. My question is will it work if I installed it at CPU.

@Apurba7,

Yes, this Corsair RAM will be compatible with your CPU, but most likely its RAM speed will disappoint you.

If you don't mind, please let me know what RAM speed you got after installing it.

Showing 1600 mhz ;

But the problem I faced was resolved. The CPU came with 4 GB memory in built but after the OS upgraded to windows 11 the processing speed of CPU became drastically slow. the suggestion came from HP online assistant is to increase the memory size. And now its resolved

@Apurba7,

Very glad to hear this -excellent news, indeed!

Looks like you DO have access to BIOS XMP after all in order to achieve 3200 MHz RAM speed.

Thank you for your follow-up.
