Product: Omen 30L
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Hello, I currently have an HP Omen 30L with a motherboard of model "87C3", and I have two 8 GB DDR4 RAM sticks that came with it from HyperX. I was wondering if I could replace them with two 16 GB sticks from T-force / Vulcan Z, which I am not sure which exact model yet, but would any be good?

To better understand the issue, could you please provide a few more details?

 

  • Are you mainly gaming, or do you also use applications like video editing or 3D rendering?
  • Do you plan to keep the existing HyperX sticks alongside the new ones, or replace them entirely?

To give you exact compatibility details, I’ll need the serial number and product number of your device. Please send those to us via private message (for your security), and I’ll check the official specifications for your exact motherboard model.
