RAM Upgrade

Hi

Working from home dealing with spreadsheets and images and PC really struggle's on occasions .

Machine is regularly 'cleaned' .

Current RAM is 8.00 (6.92 usable ) 

Would this machine accept a RAM upgrade , if so to what limit and welcoming opinions as to whether this would make its performance any better
