Hello,
I have a desktop with
RAM: HyperX 32 GB DDR4-2933 MHz XMP Heatsink RAM (2 x 16 GB) Transfer rates up to 2933 MT/s. 2 x 16 GB.
Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-10700F (2.9 GHz base frequency, up to 4.8 GHz with Intel® Turbo Boost Technology, 16 MB L3 cache, 8 cores)
I would like to replace one of the two modules with one of 32 GB. Would it be possible? Will the system be stable with two modules of different size? What should I check before buying the new memory?
Thank you for your support
G.

Welcome to our HP Community forum!
OK, your OMEN 30L Desktop - GT13-0777nz as fitted with the DoradoOC motherboard (SSID: 8703) can be fitted with up to 4x32GB of DDR4 PC4-25600, 3200 MHz, Non-ECC, UDIMM, 288-pin RAM sticks.
So, yes, you could install one 16GB and one 32GB RAM module, but because this is a mismatch, you likely won't get the same RAM performance compared with a matching RAM kit with the same brand, model and capacity.
You probably will get a RAM performance increase swapping one of your 16GB RAM sticks with a 32GB RAM stick, so, yes, this could be done, but all things considered I would recommend 'sticking' with matching RAM modules: go for a 2x32GB RAM kit.
Or you could add 2x16GB of the same HyperX RAM you already got.
Whatever you do, do not buy so-called gaming RAM such as Corsair Vengeance, as it will get stuck at its lower SPD (default) RAM speed as you can see with this unfortunate HP OMEN 30L Desktop GT13-0xxx User: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/65620853.
I would recommend 2x32GB of Kingston Fury KF3200C16D4/32GX or something like that, and I would also recommend buying such RAM via Amazon, as their return policy will make it very easy to return it if you are not satisfied with your purchase choice.
[EDIT:] The aforementioned RAM is difficult to get: I would consider 2x32GB of Crucial Pro DDR4 3200MHz (or 3000MHz or 2666MHz) with p/n: CP2K32G4DFRA32A: https://www.amazon.com/Crucial-3200MT-3000MT-Desktop-CP2K32G4DFRA32A/dp/B0C29W4G29/ref=sr_1_3?crid=6....

Hello @NonSequitur777,
Thanks for taking the time to help me out
[EDIT:] I ran the command: wmic memphysical get MaxCapacityEx, MemoryDevices . It returned 67108864 and 4. It seems that I can't upgrade with 4x32 GB, right?
Cheers
G.
