HP Recommended
Product: ExamOMEN by HP Desktop PC 880-p1xxple: Pavilion 6530
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Dell desktop had 2 x 8GB RAM fitted in 2 of the 4 slots. Can anyone tell me why 2 of the 4 slots are coloured red?

Normally for dual channels RAM sticks will run in pair that why you need to install RAM in pair, SAME sticks for a pair (red and black)
