Hello there,
I was wanting to upgrade my Desktop with some additionnal Ram.
I was having 2x16Go at 3733mhz (Hyperx Fury, XMP4, DDR4) from the original set.
And I find 4 second hand Rams of same type, from same omen pc series.
But I had bought these too quickly, and didn't notice that the maximum clock rate were at 3200mhz (they were at a good price).
I've tried them anyway (curiosity), but I was looking for the same clock rate than before.
So I bought 2 new ones, from the same serie and unused (Fury beast, 3733mhz, XMP) this time with, apparently, the same specifications.
But here my problem, the ram's clock rate is locked at 3200mhz with the original and the new ram combined, and sometimes at 2400mhz or even at 3200mhz for the original and 2400mhz for the new (I though it was impossible !? but it display that only in hp support assistant, it's displayed 2400 in Omen GH). It keeps now at 3200mhz with only originals and 2400mhz with only the new. I don't even find the original perf.
So I made some research, and find that it was probably from the XMP (not even real XMP, JDEC apparently), who desabled itself, that the issues come. More problem, I can't access to the advanced options in the bios where is located the memory settings, because of the updates. So I try to downgarde it, but it never worked. (F17 to F12)
I even try last intel XTU version but I there isn't any memory setting, and I can't install previous version on windows 11. The most I can overclock is in the Omen gaming hub, but just the orginals without the new and at 3466mhz.
Please help me, I love computers, but this begin to get on my nerves 😫.

Sorryyyy, I just wasn't using CPU-Z (Maybe not just that, I reinitialized the CMOS by deconnecting clock battery, be aware doing this, follow this).
The clock rates in hp software aren't the good ones.
For some people who may interest to this case:
Fury beast ram are mostly compatible with hyperx fury original ram.
For indication, two same ram need to be next to each other, and I personnaly set the default XMP profile (the 1 for me) while testing only the Fury beast.

Actualisation: I've test, with only the new ram, I access to the advanced options in the bios, can modified a costum memory profile, but can't edit the 2 XMP profiles that I have (why 2 !?, I think I regret put the 4 rams that I first buy in my computer)
