Microsoft Windows 11

Hi I have a hp pavilion 590-p0008na recently updated to windows 11 and now the realtek Bluetooth adapter 4.2 won't update . Have spoken with an advisor about it and currently no  driver  and no plans either I don't want to roll back to Windows 10 so my question is can I swap out the wireless/Bluetooth adapter for something that will work with windows 11 any advice greatly appreciated

You're very welcome.

Yes, you can swap out that lousy card for this model:

Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 ax 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.0 MU-MIMO M.2 2230 non-vPro  HP part # L35282-005

You can find this model Wi-Fi adapter on eBay.UK.

Search by the HP part number, not the model of the Wi-Fi card.

This service teardown video should be of help to you.

Hi:

The only suggestion I can offer would be to install the W11 drivers for both the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and see if that resolves the problem.

The drivers are good for W10 and W11:

Wifi:

2024.0.10.227

Bluetooth:

1.9.1051.3003

Hi Paul many thanks for your time and help! Hopefully they will work. I did speak to a **bleep** on twitter and he said there were no win 11 drivers upcoming at the moment hence why I asked if there was another WiFi/Bluetooth card I could possibly swap it out for
