Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Could someone please recommend a graphics card for the following system?

 

Windows 7 Home Premium  x64-based PC

HP h9-1100z

AMD FX-8120 8-Core Processor 3100 Mhz

BIOS AMI Ang_717, 13/04/2012

SMBIOS Version 2.7

Crucial SSD 1TB

16 GG RAM

 

It currently has a 1 GB GEForce GTX 550 Ti (latest drivers installed)

You can only upgrade to an Nvidia 600 series graphics card because you have a Legacy BIOS ( BIOS AMI Ang_717, 13/04/2012).

 

There are other options for this mainboard but they are limited.

 

You can buy a graphics card from a few vendors that will have the ability to run on a Legacy BIOS.

 

Here are some options:

 

1. Sapphiretech has an X series AMD solution.

 

2. MSI has a GTX 750 option, N750Ti TF 2GD5/OC
N750Ti TF 2GD5.

 

You may find other options. I have only seen the above so far.
