Hi @Ebalestrini

Welcome to the HP Forum.

I don't have a 30L PC.

Did the red LED appear recently?

I would not worry about this if the PC is working fine. The LED could indicate the MB is getting power.

The LED could enter a flashing mode if you have a power problem or a component problem. Although a red LED would usually be used to indicate a problem.

HP do not provide much info on this type of stuff.

I have retail MBs with similar status LEDs. But the LEDs are usually a different color.

Maybe a different Forum member familiar with this MB can provide additional thoughts.

Regards

Thanks for the help , I upgraded my RAM from 32 to 128 gb I been reading the manuals , and everything supuse to be fine. It’s running 3200ghz as the computer recognizes the upgrade , and I don’t see any evident problems  . But my concern it’s red light coming from motherboard it’s something wrong how can I double check my system it’s ok ?
Thanks for the help and this is an expensive hardware I don’t want to put it into heavy work with some problems going on . ..

Hi @Ebalestrini

My pleasure.

Try running diagnostics at startup.

Start the PC. Repeatedly tap the "ESC" key.

Select "F2".

Run system and component tests.

It look like all is well if the RAM is running at 3200 MHz in Windows Task Manager and the PC is stable.

Try running a stress test like Cinebench multiple times to see how thing s go. It will stress test the CPU but if you have a RAM problem this should be indicated if the PC locks up.

I did a diagnostic tool with a technician , that light it’s not coming from the motherboard , it’s coming from one of the hard drive of the computer . We conclude that light it’s indicating that one of the drives are almost full of of data . But  have nothing to do with the computer components everything in the hardware was fine . Just if someone find this light in this type of computers .
also that was back up drive that the computer clean by itself .
