I have an older HP desktop which still runs great. It came originally with a 12GB Recovery Image (D:) and Windows 8 which I basically have been ignoring over the years because I didn;t need the space on the core SSD drive it shared with the OS.
Over the years I have upgraded to the latest version of Windows 10 and would now like to either reformat this partition to use for conventional storage, or preferably, remove the partition completely and just have the free space added to the C: drive which I can use.
What is the best, and safest, way to do this. I have multiple, current image backups for the C: drive which I update monthly.
Thanks.

Just as I thought @CDRowe
I have a glitch in a few images and I need to do this on everyone that I build.
