Hello, I have a problem with my C-drive which is only 237gb. I'm running very low on space since i have a few games downloaded which is causing  my computer to be very slow and it's hard to play games. I also have a D-drive with 463gb that i can use but i would really like to replace my C-drive with an SSD, preferably 2TB. But I am unsure about what SSD i can use to replace it with, this is my current C-drive disk: SK hynix BC501. Is there an SSD that is compatible to use to replace this one?

Sure that are plenty of 2280 PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD products that are compatible.

I prefer Samsung brand for reputation, durability and low latency, like the Samsung 980 M.2 SSD

Here is the US , a 1TB 2280 PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD is around the $50.00 price point.

If you have filled your C drive near its capacity, the OS may be getting ready to crash.

When you do not identify your desktop or laptop PC, you tie our hands behind our backs. Help us to help you.

When logged into Windows, hold down the Windows key and tap the R key once.
That will open the Windows run dialogue

Type in msinfo32 and press enter.

The ninth line is the SKU and the HP product number. Kindly post it in your next reply in your thread.

The System SKU/Product ID will enable us to determine the hardware configuration of your notebook.
