HP Pavilion All-in-One PC 24-k0000i (7RD93AV)
Hi,
I'm looking for a replacement keyboard for my HP pavilion 24" All-in-one or a replacement clip retainer. I accidentally broke the clip retainer for the right Shift/pause key on one side and am unsure whether this piece can be replaced separately or if I need to replace the entire keyboard. Now the KB is typing /// all the time on its own. This is the number on the back of my keyboard HP IC-5524A-TPC C002K. I live in Amman, Jordan. If I need to buy a new keyboard, could you suggest where I can order one online?

I would appreciate any guidance you can provide. Thanks

Ma'en

Hey @MaenT,

Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Unfortunately, the clip retainer is a small part that is usually not sold separately. Since the damage is affecting the key’s functionality, you’ll likely need to replace the entire keyboard.

If you need to replace the keyboard with a new one, you can purchase an HP-compatible keyboard for your HP Pavilion 24" All-in-One through the official HP Online Store or HP's authorized retailers in your region for a compatible replacement.

I hope these steps help resolve the issue
