Thanks for reaching out—I'm sorry you're facing trouble with resetting your PC. It’s frustrating when a reset doesn’t go as expected, but we’ll walk through a few focused steps to help you regain control and get your system back to a clean, working state.

 

If the Reset Process Failed or Got Stuck

 

Try Reset Again via Windows Settings

  • Go to Start > Settings > System > Recovery
  • Under Reset this PC, click Reset PC
  • Choose Keep my files or Remove everything, depending on your preference
  • Follow the on-screen instructions

 

Use Advanced Startup Options

  • Hold Shift and click Restart from the Start menu
  • Select Troubleshoot > Reset this PC
  • Choose your reset option and proceed

 

Run HP Cloud Recovery (for HP devices)

  • Visit HP Cloud Recovery Tool
  • Download and run the tool on a working Windows PC
  • Follow instructions to create recovery media for your specific HP model

 

Use Windows Installation Media
