HP Pavilion 590-p0085z
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a friend with the above-mentioned PC that suddenly came up with a 3F0 error. The PC boots from a SSD and has a 1TB HDD as a secondary. I removed the SSD and tried connecting it to several other PCs externally, but none of them are detecting it. It's as if it doesn't exist. There are files on this drive that my friend has never backed up. Before I replace it or try to do a recovery on it, is there another way to determine if the SSD is  defiinitely fried? Or to possibly recover the files from it?

Thank you in advance.

hi

https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-pavilion-desktop-pc-590-p0000a/19390500/model/29734168/docum...

did you connect the m2 ssd with a usb adapter?
If this adapter works, there may not be much more to do.
Absolutely no recognition, checked in device manager?

Hi Promethee. Thank you for your response.

I connected it using a disk enclosure which connects via USB. It actually DOES show up in Device Manager as "SSK SCSI Disk Device", but it does not pop up in Windows Explorer as a drive. What should I do next?

Thanks in advance.

In "Disk Management", it appears as "Unknown; Not initialized".

I'm not sure what you mean by "HS". Can you clarify?
