SSD for HP Pavilion All-in-One - 24-r025m

Hi my friends... my question is simple... since i bought the AIO (2018) the hard drive has been a problem. WIN 10 use a lot of resources and then the HDD is super stressed and the PC tends to turn unresponsive. I want to add a SSD HD to boot with WIN 10 and use the HDD for storage. Can you help me to find, first is my machine accept an SSD, second which size recommend for this and third, did this AIO have a second drive slot or the SDD dont need a specific bay?

@larreaza , welcome to the Community.

The Motherboard Specifications state that there is "One M.2 socket 3, 2280 type for SSD".  It doesn't state if it is SATA or NVMe.  Just to be safe, I suggest going with a SATA, M.2, since the hard drive (HDD) is SATA III: https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-250GB-SATA-Internal-MZ-N6E250BW/dp/B07822Z77M/ref=asc_df_B07864V6CK/?...

I like Samsung SSD's so I use their Data Migration software.  It can only be used for Samsung products.  Here is an article that lists 5 good cloning software products: https://www.techrepublic.com/blog/five-apps/five-free-and-reliable-cloning-tools/

Ok… I bought the disk, the enclosure and the disk is cloned… I open the PC and the m.2 bay is not there. I change the boot order in the BIoS, but windows apparently only boot from disk C. What else can I do to boot from the USB successfully?

According to the specifications for your computer there should be "One M.2 socket 3, 2280 type for SSD".  You should install the M.2 in the socket, disconnect the HDD, and boot the computer.  You don't want to have two OS'es on the computer at the same time.

I opened, looked everywhere and nothing found. Question is: can I just remove the HDD (disconnect it) and boot with the USB one?

You can begin tapping F11 when the computer begins to boot.  This will take you to the boot menu.  You can choose which hard drive you want to use.  You would choose the USB drive that is connected.
