Z2 G5 SFF 5A266UA#ABA
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello

New to Z2 G5 SFF bought unit last week.

It came with 512 GB HP Z Turbo Drive PCIe® NVMe™ TLC SSD. Can I add a second SSD to this computer?

I see that I have one bay to hold a hard drive. I want to put into it bracket a 4GB internal hard drive.
There is the sata power cable. There is no sata cable. I notice the sata plug. Shows Sata 0 and Sata 3.

Which one do I choose to connect to the sata hard drive?

Thanks!

Yes, into that drive-bay that you have seen.

Did you mean 400 GB or 4000 GB (4 TB) ?

Any local computer store will sell you a cable, for a few dollars.

In general, it does not matter -- just connect the SATA cable to either socket.

If one socket does not work, just try the other.

However, in rare cases, the SATA3 socket is also electronically used if your computer has an "external-SATA" (eSATA) socket on the back of the computer, and you are actually using that socket.
