Omen 880-20t CTO
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello - I’m writing this as I need some help installing a hard drive in the external bay of the Omen 880 pc. Essentially, I am unable to find the screws required to install the drive (fastening it onto the bracket) . I watched the instruction video and viewed the document regarding the install, but there is no/vague information as to what SPECIFIC screw (e.g length, diameter) is needed. I understand it is a Philips head screw, but that's pretty much all I know. I apologise if I did indeed miss someting that touched on this. I tried the part surfer, but I don't belive I found the correct thing. If I could be told the exact screws required and possibly where to get them, that would be great, thanks 🙂

Hi @_RY4N_,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Have a great day!
