Have noticed a couple of times in the past few days...my Samsung PM981 1TB NVMe SSD is showing as 60ºC in Crystal Disk...whereas the Kingston 240 GB SSD is showing 40ºC...my PC is an HP ProOne 400 G4 23.8-inch Non-Touch All-in-One Business PC with i7 8700T and 64 GB Ram, so admittedly Airflow is not wonderful....
Given that it is now Autumn down in Oz and the past week's ambient temps have been around 22 - 25ºC I don't think my Home situation is causing the issue...but then again...how much of an issue is 60ºC for an NVMe SSD?
Have had a couple of Explorer crashes [no idea why] during this period and when that happens...the Taskbar is reset to "Hide The Taskbar" setting, and all Folders that are Open...all shutdown...
Anyone have a thought or remedy?
