I have hp 510-po53in desktop

I want to buy samsung 860 evo 1tb 2.5  sata 3 ssd and upgrade my desktop

I want to know that is my model of desktop is compatible for this samsung 2.5 ssd which i mentioned above?

Please help me

Yes, you can install a SATA SSD on the computer.

Hello i face some problem

When i plug ssd via caddy and plug sata cabel and power cabel and turn on the pc the pc stuck with hp logo and also i cant open bios.

If i connect directly i mean not through caddy only with sata cabel and power cabel the problem is same.

My desktop is HP 510 p053in

I did every thing like disconnect HDD and only connect ssd still it stuck with hp logo and cant access bios.

I also disable secure boot and enable legacy boot try to turn on only with ssd not HDD still it stuck with hp logo and cant access bios.

But ssd is okay i try it my sister computer it works fine

 

Note- my desktop model is "hp 510- p053in"

Thank you for posting back. 

 

You need to install OS on SSD and then try to boot the computer to windows to check the functionality. 

Here is the YouTube video  https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03375417 which explains how to install SSD 

(the video is not HP recommended just for your reference)

I install os on ssd on a different pc then try to connect ssd in my system . When i turn on the system the problem is same

When i connect ssd it stuck with hp logo i cant access bios and also cant open windows.

When i connect ssd with sata to usb cable it open, but when i connect with sata it stuck with hp logo
