Hello!

I have a HP 27 AIO, warranty expired in late january but i have a problem which is a design flaw. The stand became wobbly and the computer fell off the desk and the screen is broken. This stand is the single neck version (later revisions have 2 support "necks" to make it more stable) and there are 3 screws at the bottom of the base which are coming loose even after i tighten them and a piece of the base is broken too. I've ordered a replacement screen but i don't want to break it again. Is it possible to ask for a warranty repair at least for the stand? I have photos and videos of the issue (i can upload them if needed) and the stand is faulty by design (the newer version has 2 support "necks").

Thank you.

@szape -- welcome to this peer-to-peer discussion groups, where volunteer contributors try to help.

In your case, I recommend that you access:  http://support.hp.com  and make an "official" contact with HP, to see if they can do anything about your out-of-warranty device.

Thank you. Unfortunately i can't find any option to contact support via e-mail. At the moment i can't make a phone call, will try it later.

Hi @szape

The standard warranty from hp, depending on the devices, is at least one year!
After this time, it is generally no longer possible to obtain free help, and even less for damage, try, but little hope
Unless you are mistaken, you are in the European Union, therefore there is a specific law..
see the conditions for your country, but if as in France, the warranty is two years at the expense of the retailer!
so if the equipment was purchased in a store other than hp, you will have to go to the latter

if your country

Thanks for your kind help and suggestion. I'll upload a few pictures just to see the problem, meanwhile i'll try to contact the support and the retailer too.

Best regards.

UPDATE:

Bought a replacement LCD and i realized that the pull tab adhesive strip is not included. They only include it in the back panel and i'm unable to buy it separately. BUT the back panel is fine. This is madness.

I don't understand HP at all...
