System Upgrade Possibilities

Hi.

I am wanting to upgrade the parts that I can on this AIO.  I can see that the Product KB shows that both the CPU and memory can be upgraded.  I have a couple of questions...

1)  How hard is it to change out the CPU on a board like this?  Is something a desktop builder could navigate through or does it require touchy soldiering?  Is it worth upgrading with the choice of going from Pentium Silver J5005 to Celeron J4005 (which seems like a downgrade except for the base proc speeds)?

2)  It also list the memory as being upgradeable and on the mother board diagram it shows 2 SODIMM slots yet on the above linked Product KB page it states there is only one SoDIMM.  I haven't opened it up yet and was wondering if there are 1 or 3 SODIMM slots?

3)  Last; it does not show the graphics as upgradeable but the MoBo diagram shows there is a "M.2 Graphics card connector".  Can I actually add a GPU to this?  If so, what are the requirements and where do I purchase?

Is it worth upgrading with the choice of going from Pentium Silver J5005 to Celeron J4005 (which seems like a downgrade except for the base proc speeds)?  No, it would definitely be a down-grade installing the Celeron.  The J5005 is a Quad-core processor and the J4005 is a Dual-core processor.  This means that the speed is insignificant in this instance.  The 4 cores far exceed the difference in speed.

According to the information from Crucial there are two slots for memory (2x1).  You can check to make certain, but they are normally very accurate.  Their sales depend on it.

If so, what are the requirements and where do I purchase?  The power supply unit (PSU) is only 65W.  This doesn't leave much wattage for a M.2 video card.  I doubt that you would find one that would work.  You can contact one of the video card manufacturer's Tech Support to see what they have to say about it.

As far as upgrading the graphics question... is it possible top upgrade the power supply or is that all HP makes that would fit/work with this model?

I was given this touchscreen and would just like to make the best of it.

Look at the section titled "AC Adapter".  It only lists two adapters, both are 65W.  You were given a very nice computer.  The upgrade opportunities are limited, however, because of the size of the case which limits the airflow.  I wouldn't recommend attempting to upgrade the graphics.
