HP AIO PC 24-f0014
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I need a good advice.

So I got a no touch screen sent to me. I will loose money to return that.

It was because the whole model number was the same.

But it didn't offer touch. So, my fault I ordered.

Now my question: Does anybody know if this might just work?

(Without touch of course, I understand that.)

I would take it if it does.

I can imagine the Bios must be preset for this to work.

If I know for sure it won't work, I will return this unpacked.

Didn't want to be here, but yes bs happens!

Thanks for your advice.

Hi,

Yes, i believe you can use the non-touch panel without any problem

Take a look at this video where first is shown ho to replace a non-touch panel and then a touch panel. They are basically the same. You can just remove the touch cable from the machine.

Hope it helps,

David

Thanks David!

I decided to try.  I didn't use touch a lot. Mostly for easy scrolling or now and then zooming.

I will have to find out which one is the touch cable. I followed your video but my device is different.

I will check some I saved.

Have a great day!

I couldn't decide to  build it in... If I mess this up and have to remove the screen,

again with chances on damage... I will cancel the whole operation and buy a knew one.

This went back to CA.

So, though next delivery comes from China and costs me shipping and $25 more over all, I have support from A well known online shop. The item description contains my AIO model and condition new .

I don't want to open it again to upgrade memory, I ordered that too. So, I'm ready when the screen arrives.

That will take some time. I'll let you know how this works out.
