HP Pavilion Desktop PC TP01-2000a (2Z6C9AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

HP Pavilion Desktop PC

Model No TP01-2141

Motherboard (printed on the board) ID 19 ERICA3_ERICA5 REV:A

This computer currently as a 180W power supply.  HP Part No: L70042-001 HP Model No: 180W EPA90 ENT20

I want to upgrade this power supply to handle a more powerful graphics card (Solidworks capable)

Dug around and found a few references to a chart created by @wb2001 but my model number is not listed.

Talked with technical support, who kicked me to sales, who kicked me to parts, where I finally got an answer:

Agent : "I apologize, the power supply compatible with you device has 180W"
Agent : "Part number: L81008-800 Description: GNRC PSU 180W ENT20 Gold"
Me      : "there is no higher wattage upgrade?"
Me      : "400 or 500w?"
Agent : "No, that is the only power supply that the system shows me"

Wondering if this guy...did not investigate as thoroughly as possible. If I cannot upgrade this pc, then it will not have a long enough lifespan for our purposes.

This topic comes up frequently in this Forum.  Yes, there appears to be a compatible HP OEM 500 watt PSU available for your desktop -to be confirmed by an HP Expert: the HP L05757-800.

HP happens to have this PSU in stock.

If L05757-800 compatibility with your desktop is confirmed, purchasing through HP appears to be the least expensive option:

hi

you don't really need confirmation
just the motherboard, is shown here as:

identical answer has already been given, but I do not know if we had confirmation of purchase, and tests, this model works normally with other erica, normally no problem
