I'm planning to purchase TP01-3050 (Intel Core i5 12400/8GB RAM/512GB SSD). I would like to know what are my options for PSU & GPU upgrade. I noticed there are 2 types of 500W PSU (L81009-800 & L05757-800) not sure which one would be better. As for GPU, I'm already assuming either 3060 or 4060 (think 4060 would be better since it have lower power consumption compare to 3060)
Thanks

Speaking of Micro Center, this RTX 4060 is priced ($335) very well: MSI NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ventus 2X Black Overclocked Dual Fan 8GB GDDR6 PCIe 4.0 Graphics Card - ..., and this RTX 5060 is priced ($320) even better: MSI NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ventus 2X Overclocked Dual Fan 8GB GDDR7 PCIe 5.0 Graphics Card - Micro ....
Between the two, the RTX 5060 scores significantly higher (20%) than the RTX 4060: UserBenchmark: Nvidia RTX 4060 vs 5060.
Whatever you may have heard, the RTX 5060 is a good card, especially for 1080p gaming, offering a good balance of price and performance. It's a noticeable step up from the previous generation's RTX 4060 and can handle many games at 60+ FPS, even with ray tracing and DLSS. However, the 8GB of VRAM is a limiting factor, particularly at higher resolutions like 1440p. This card only requires a 400-watt power supply.

Welcome to our HP Community forum!
First of all, and for the record, so to speak: you have a number of power supply upgrade options for your PC:
400-watt with p/n: L04618-800 / 942332-001
500-watt with p/n: 901759-013 / L77487-003 / L77487-001 / L77487-003 / L05757-800 / 913290-001 / L89233-001 / L81009-800
650-watt with p/n: L57253-003 / L36049-003
The 500-watt power supplies are either full-sized (e.g. L05757-800) or smaller-sized (e.g. L77487-001 / L77487-003 / L89233-001 / L81009-800), and they all fit in your case.
All things being equal, I would pick a smaller-sized 500-watt unit.
Please be advised, that if you aim to power/install an RTX 4060, a 400-watt power supply should easily suffice.

Thank you for much for the info. I'm surprised that there's a 650W option for my computer.
Would a 5060 work for my computer? (just out of curiosity)
Would a 3-fan 4060 fit in my computer?

You're welcome!
Yes, there is a compatible 650-watt power supply as I used it for my HP Pavilion TP01-3003w upgrade project: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/Upgrading-an-HP-Pavilion-TP01-3....
Whether or not a triple fan GPU will fit in your case, depends on the card's dimensions -specifically its length: my large dual-fan RTX 2080 Super (267mm) barely fits, so you should stick with smaller-sized (dual fan) cards.
A smaller-sized RTX 5060 is perfectly doable in your case: all it needs is just a 400-watt power supply, btw.
No, a triple fan RTX 4060 will not fit in your case.
The very best high-end graphics card you could physically fit in your case would be a dual-fan RTX 5070 powered by the 650-watt power supply, such as this model: https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/asus-dual-rtx-5070-oc-edition.b12567.

Wow! That's a lot of great info.
I'm just trying to get as much info before I start buying parts. My wife have HP ProDesk 600 G2 SFF & there isn't much to upgrade. During the time, she just needs PC to play Sims. Now she's slowly getting into Steam/SteamDeck & want to play InZoi. So I'm making sure in case any other games she wants to play demands a lot of GPU power, it can handle.
At the moment, I'm just debating 4060 or 5060/5070 since 4060 is a little harder to find at a good price point & 5060 is a little more accessible since I have MicroCenter not far from me. Wished Fry's was still in business. Just been reading mixed reviews on new 5xxx series,
