I have an HP laptop (model: HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eg3000 IDS Base Model) that I’ve been using for over a year. Recently, I started having an issue with the hinge. Whenever I open or close the lid, the center hinge feels very tight and creates a lot of pressure. Because of this, the screen frame or plastic bezel near the hinge starts to come apart or pop out slightly.

My warranty has already expired, and I’d appreciate any advice on how to get it repaired affordably or if there are any trade-in, student support, or repair options available.
