Hello.

  1. HP Pavilion TG01-2000i Gaming Desktop PC, SSID: 8860,  Windows 11
  2. Kingston Fury 2x16GB DDR4 3200MT/s RAM
  3. Memory is installed in the recommended slots.
  4. BIOS version F.29 from September 17, 2025, was installed on December 4, 2025.

After replacing the RAM, I can't set the maximum RAM speed of 3200 MHz. The memory manager only shows 2667 MHz. How can I see/activate the "Advanced" tab in the BIOS and set the RAM speed parameters there?

Thank you.

@Oleg-60_65,

All HP Pavilion TG01-2xxx systems use either Intel 11th-gen Core or AMD Ryzen 5000 CPUs, both of which officially support DDR4-3200. However, HP's locked BIOS does not support XMP. As a result, RAM will only run at 3200 MHz if the DIMMs include a native JEDEC-3200 SPD profile. Modules that rely on XMP for 3200 (such as many Kingston Fury kits) will fall back to their default (SPD) 2666 MHz RAM speed.

There is no Advanced BIOS menu to enable XMP manually.

According to the Userbenchmark link I referenced, here are the best performing 2x16GB RAM options running at 3200 MHz:

2x16GB Samsung M378A2G43AB3-CWE
2x16GB Samsung M378A2K43EB1-CWE
2x16GB Crucial CT16G4DFRA32A
2x16GB Crucial CT16G4DFD832A
2x16GB Hynix HMAA2GU6CJR8N-XN

Kind Regards,
