You are very welcome, @ROBIN136! Thank you for the additional information.
Your computer can use a maximum 0f 16 GB of memory. The motherboard has Dual channel memory architecture. This means that you should install the memory modules in matched pairs to get the best performance from the memory. If you can match the memory module that came with the computer this would be fine. However, I would recommend installing the maximum of 16 GB (2x8 GB) for the best performance. Here is the memory that you need. I have not ever dealt with this company. I suggest that you do some research before buying from them or use the specifications to buy from another company. You may want to check with Crucial Memory to see if they have the memory. They are a very good company.

@ROBIN136 , welcome to the Community.
What is the Product Number of the computer? I need this information to review the specifications of it. Please don't furnish the Serial # or other personal information. You can find the Product Number at the bottom of the page when you open HP Support Assistant. Once I have this information I will help you further.

@ROBIN136, I am always glad to help those in need! Just know, one of these days your computer will become obsolete. The apps that we use are getting more and more processor and video intensive. Good luck!
