Product: HP ENVY Notebook- 17t-n100 CT
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)
Hi!
My HP Envy Notebook 17t-n100CT (CND54576YN) doesn't recognize ANY devices I plug into my USB ports. When I go to the Device Manager, it shows the Universal Serial Bus Controller with an exclamation point.
I've tried the following:
- disabling and then enabling it the Universal Serial Bus Controller- doesn't work.
- uninstalling and then using the "Scan for hardware changes" - laptop tries to install the driver, but an error message appears saying, "No driver found" and the exclamation point remains.
- restarting my computer - doesn't work.
- updating all of my drivers using the Intel Driver Update Utility - updated only the Pro/set Wireless driver b/c nothing else was available.
- making sure all of my Windows updates have been installed - didn't work.
- going to HP's website and downloading all driver updates that were available - didn't work.
- read a lot of different websites/forums and still haven't found the answer or where I can download the driver.
Can someone help me please?
Thank you so much!
