No! HP doesn't provide XMP's in their BIOS/UEFI. You may be able to use a third-party app to increase the speed. However, do it with CAUTION!!
Please click the "Yes" button if my reply was helpful and "Accept as Solution" if your problem is Solved!!

I appreciate the reply! I was wondering because they recently unlocked it for a similar system https://youtu.be/7QeYz5AQGZ4.
I think there was a way to unlock the XMP in the gaming hub by downgrading some drivers, however, the method doesn’t seem to work :/.
Might have to consider buying a new motherboard, although this one is actually decent only the xmp limitations suck!

Greetings @old_geekster, and @banhien, HP Forum,
As many others before me, I also brought up this XMP issue in my HP EliteDesk 800 G3 SFF Upgrade thread recently. Even though HP's specs (HP EliteDesk 800 G3 Small Form Factor Business PC Specifications | HP® Customer Support) unequivocally affirms that the G.SKILL DDR4 2400 MHz RAM combined with an Intel i7-7700K should run at 2400 MHz, but it just does not: it runs at 2133 MHz.
@old_geekster, you mentioned a third-party app, but I have not been able to locate any that is able to adjust XMP. For example, Intel's XTU (Extreme Tuning Utility) doesn't do it, so perhaps you know something I would be really interested in knowing: what third party app(s) do you have in mind?
Kind Regards,

Dear Forum,
It appears that chances are slim to nonexistent to expect to see viable XMP fixes. There probably aren't any, to be honest. For one thing, it stands to reason that HP is not interested to fix known and well-documented XMP issues on obsolete legacy PCs.
And as @mdklassen said it straightforwardly almost 4 years ago, and I quote: "This is a "user-to-user" forum, not an official path to contact HP".

I don't have any suggestions for apps that will allow you to overclock your memory. I am always hesitant to make recommendations for overclocking since I don't know the members level of computer savvy. I have been OC'ing for many years and fried a HP motherboard with XTU! This happen without using any outrageous settings. So, BEWARE!!!

Thank you for your response. I do understand your OC-hesitancy. Trust me, I give it due diligence. And if you are familiar with, say my last two Legacy HP Upgrade projects (HP Pro 6300 SFF and HP EliteDesk 800 G3 SFF), you would know that my computer saffyness is quite adequate.
However -let's be clear though: being able to adjust RAM speed for which it was designed to run at by the manufacturer AND is backed/confirmed by HP's very own documentation, is not overclocking.
