HP ENVY 700-216 Desktop PC
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

As all OS 8.1 users are now unsupported.  I wish to upgrade to Windows 10 (21h1/2). i HAVE REVIEWED all the Microsoft requirements and all but the specs for the graphics card seem to fit.  But I could not find all the technical specs Microsoft listed from HP to make a full comparison.  One example is "clock speed" required.  I need a comparison BEFORE I buy the down load and key.

Hi:

Since HP has W10 drivers on your PC's support page, W10 should work fine.

If you have a PC running W10 currently, make a bootable W10 installation flash drive with the Media creation tool from the link below.

Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)

Turn on your HP 700-216 PC and let it get into Windows.

After the media is created, plug the flash drive into your HP 700-216 PC.

Do not boot from the flash drive.

Open the flash drive in Windows Explorer and double click on the setup application to begin the upgrade process to W10.

Thanks Paul

My other PC is an HP convertible running W 10 (22621).  This should work.  Thanks again.  I'll let you know how it works out.
