Pavilion Gaming Desktop 690-0067c
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought both of my kids the HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop 690-0067c - AMD Ryzen 7 1700, AMD RADEON RX 550 4GB, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB HDD.

I want them to be able to play VR games. I know their current setup won't support VR.
I need to know how far I can upgrade these 2 desktop computers to support VR meaning. What Video Card and power supply. I know they are tiny towers so unsure what it can hold / handle.

Any suggestions for video card that the motherboard will support that will handle VR fine and what power supply that will fit in the tower as well would be awesome.

@fxknight , welcome to the Community.

The motherboard in the computer is HP proprietary.  It has a 4-pin power connector instead of the standard 24-pin ATX power connector.  This means that you will have to buy any PSU upgrade from HP.  They have a 500W PSU (L05757-800) that is compatible.  Here it is on HP PartSurfer: https://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?searchText=l05757-800

Here is a HP Knowledge Base article that will tell you what to consider when upgrading the video card: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Gaming-Knowledge-Base/Upgrade-Video-Card/ta-p/7481981

The two major concerns is 1) the length of the card and 2) the wattage to run it properly.  Here is a card that should fit into the case: https://www.newegg.com/msi-geforce-gtx-1650-super-gtx-1650-super-gaming-x/p/N82E16814137484

Also, it would run nicely with the 500W PSU upgrade from HP and is VR ready.  Read the Customer Reviews to see what users have to say about it.

If you decide against the card for some reason, it will show you what will work.

One other suggestion that I will make is an upgrade to a SSD boot drive.  This will increase system performance considerably.
