Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Good Afternoon - I just purchased a HP ProDesk 600 G3 SFF Desktop Computer.  I would like to upgrade the OS to Windows 11 Pro.  First, am I able to upgrade with this computer?  If not, what do I have to upgrade inside the computer?  Why help would be appreciated.

Hi:

The PC does not meet Microsoft's minimum W11 hardware requirements to upgrade to W11 (processor not supported).

No Intel 8th generation core processors are supported in the model series, which are the minimum processor requirements established by Microsoft.

If you are interested in installing W11 on your PC as is, you can read this discussion for how I upgraded several HP and Dell notebook and desktop PC's that did not meet the W11 hardware requirements to W11 22H2/22H3.

You have to use the version of the Rufus utility that I zipped up and attached in the discussion (v3.18).

If the in-place upgrade fails, you should be able to clean install W11 using the bootable W11 installation flash drive you made with Rufus.

I am running W11 23H2 on my HP Elitedesk 800 G3 (slightly upscale model of the Prodesk 600 G3) and it works fine.
